Extended School

Regarding Breakfast club and Afterschool club

Our breakfast and afterschool club are run on a pay in advance system, which is non refundable if not attended. The reason this applies is due to staffing and food quantities required for each day.

We have held our prices for five years, however due to food, staffing and energy costs, we have no choice but to introduce new charges from September 2012.

New charges per hour:

Our breakfast club runs from 7:50am until 8:50am in the morning at a new charge of £4.00 and our afterschool club runs from 3:15pm to 6:15pm. Charges are made on an hourly basis, this means charges are made for:

First Hour

3:15pm

4:15pm

£4.00

Second Hour

4:15pm

5:15pm

£2.50

Third Hour

5:15pm

6:15pm

£2.00

Tea is included in the Second Hour

Therefore if your child is booked into afterschool club from 3:15pm to 4:15pm but you are unable to collect your child until after4:15pm the second hour becomes chargeable, this also applies if the time runs into the third hour.

Regrettably we are unable to offer discount if your child attends a club which runs during their first hour as staff still need to be in place for their return.

Booking in advance:

While the club recognises the need for emergency admissions we would request all parents/carers to book their children into the club the week before their child’s visit enclosing payment at time of booking, to help us organise appropriate requirements.

Extended School deeply appreciates parents/carers support in administering the above guidelines and wish to extend our gratitude to your contribution, which enables the extended school to operate successfully.
